 “PRE-PRODUCTION”

After speaking with the dancers, I knew I wanted an abstract, dark visual style that put the focus squarely on the movement. Following the location recce, we decided on deep cinematic blacks combined with a red-versus-blue color scheme. We finalized our shot list, checked everything with the gaffer, and we were ready to shoot!

“PRODUCTION”

The shoot went incredibly smoothly. The camera crew really connected with the dancers, creating a collaborative atmosphere with plenty of room for creativity. I had a clear vision going in, but I also knew this was the kind of shoot where much of the magic happens on set. My role was to provide all the right ingredients, recognize those spontaneous moments, and capture them together with the crew.

“POST PRODUCTION”

This was the phase where I knew I could go all out. Throughout the entire process, I felt complete trust from everyone involved—and that pushed me to deliver something truly special. Sebastian, the music producer, lit a spark the moment he sent over the first draft. From there, we kept bouncing raw versions and ideas back and forth, constantly pushing the project to a new level. I poured myself into the details, making sure every effect felt intentional, without ever losing focus on the dancers.
